What causes allergies to cats?

pet allergies and cats are among the most common culprits. But contrary to what you might think, it's not the fur or hair that causes the allergic reaction. People with cat allergies are really allergic to proteins in the cat's saliva, urine, and dander.
What makes the Balinese Cat Different from other cats?
- Balinese cats are long-haired Siamese cats. They have a silky coat.
- They are a little bit more shy than the Tonkinese cats.
- They take a lot more work to socialize than Tonkinese but, if trained, they can be friendly and outgoing as well.
- All of them have pointed ears and blue eyes. All of them have different colors of points (lilac points, blue points, chocolate points, seal points).
- Some research shows that Balinese have less of the feline d1 protien. This is what most people are allergic to.
Having lower levels of fel D1 protein makes them the ideal pet for people with allergies. Now go and give your fur baby a hug!
